Knowledge is power. Resources to start your path...
Headshots, Auditions, Breakdowns, Demo reels, Classes, Techniques, Directors, Locations, Investment, History, Jobs, Classifieds and everything else you can imagine that will help you on the right path!  Remember this is a business.
A good starter resource is Mandy.com if you don't already know about it. It's got free crew/cast/jobs/classifieds! Expect to work for free, but also expect to increase your resumé credits this way! FREE!
Another excellent resource for actors, crew, directors, producers, writers, agents, managers, etc. It's highly recommended that you subscribe to the professional version of this website, Here.
Actors can take control of their own breakdowns, casting calls and auditions with a free actor profile here, but they will charge per submission which is great for cherry picking your roles if you are not located in Los Angeles or New York.  A Showfax subscription gives you free submissions on actors access. This resource is also great for directors, casting directors, and aspiring talent to place calls for work.  I highly recommend this service.
This is primarily a writing source! Tons of great scripts have been sold through InkTip. It's an indy resource for writers.  Well worth it!
